Rio2 (TSXV: RIO) filed an independent NI 43-101 Technical Report on SEDAR+ for the Kalzas Tungsten Project in Yukon, consolidating historical data, geology and exploration potential. The commodity backdrop is favourable: tungsten is a federally designated Canadian critical mineral and a key input in tooling and advanced manufacturing, with supply concentrated offshore.

It is important to size what this filing is. A technical report of this kind provides qualified-person-reviewed disclosure — a baseline of what is known — but 'supporting historical data and exploration potential' is not the same as a current mineral resource, let alone a preliminary economic assessment. There are no new economics here to underwrite.

The value is that it puts a critical-mineral asset on a compliant footing so future work can build on it. Judge Kalzas when there is drilled grade and a resource, not on the strategic appeal of tungsten alone. As disclosed in Rio2's July 14, 2026 SEDAR+ filing.
