Q2 Metals (TSXV: QTWO) is running roughly 20,000 metres of infill and exploratory drilling this summer at the Cisco Lithium Project in Québec, following a winter program of about 10,515 m across 19 holes (assays still pending on nine). The prize is a combined inferred resource of 295 million tonnes at 1.36% Li2O — 270 Mt pit-constrained and 24 Mt underground-constrained — announced in April 2026.

On grade, 1.36% Li2O is competitive for a hard-rock spodumene project; plenty of developed pegmatite deposits sit below that. The caveat is the word 'inferred': it is the lowest-confidence resource category, based on limited drill density. Infill drilling exists precisely to convert inferred tonnes to indicated, and a PEA leaning on inferred material is preliminary by definition.

The catalysts are sequential — winter assays, then upgraded resource confidence, then a PEA expected in Fall 2026. Watch whether infill holds the 1.36% grade as spacing tightens.
